Grand Sunergy Successfully Signs Module Supply Contract for 4 GW Ⅱ phrase Photovoltaic Project in Ruoqiang

Recently, Grand Sunergy signed a contract with China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd. for the supply of heterojunction(HJT) photovoltaic modules for the 4 GW photovoltaic project in Ruoqiang. The total contract amount is 164 million RMB.

China Green Development Investment Group (CGDG) is a large central enterprise focused on green energy, wellness industry, low-carbon cities, and strategic emerging industry investments. The total investment for the 4 GW photovoltaic project in Ruoqiang is approximately 11 billion RMB, covering an area of 114,000 acres, with an average annual power generation of 6.9 billion kWh. The project officially started in September 2023 and is currently the largest single photovoltaic project in the world in terms of installed capacity, utilizing the latest heterojunction photovoltaic module technology on a large scale.

Winning the bid for the 4 GW photovoltaic project in Ruoqiang marks another success for Grand Sunergy after winning the 1 GW module procurement framework project from CGN New Energy for 2023-2024 last year.
