Grand Sunergy CEO Gao Fei Holds Talks with the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)

On July 10, Grand Sunergy CEO Gao Fei visited the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in China and met with Ambassador Balumuene. The two parties held discussions on the development of the energy and power market in the DRC and the construction of new energy projects. First Counselor Mr. Denewadie Sola Luc and Second Counselor Mr. Ndusiruziga Christian of the DRC Embassy attended the meeting.

Gao Fei expressed gratitude for the ambassador’s warm reception and briefly introduced the overall development and international business operations of Grand Sunergy. He highlighted the technical advantages of Grand Sunergy’s heterojunction (HJT) products, such as high-power output, low degradation, high bifacial rate, and low temperature coefficient. These features make the products well-suited for applications in deserts, offshore, and agrivoltaic systems, which align with the photovoltaic energy needs of African regions. He stated that the DRC, as a country rich in mineral resources with a long history in mining, has abundant key mineral resources such as cobalt, copper, and nickel, which play an important role in the new energy sector. Grand Sunergy attaches great importance to cooperation opportunities under the “Belt and Road” initiative, especially with African countries. Leveraging its advantages in vertical ecological industry chain layout, Grand Sunergy will actively participate in new energy project development in the DRC, particularly in the field of green energy for photovoltaic power plants. This will inject new vitality and momentum into the mining industry, residential electricity use, and sustainable development and green energy transition in the DRC and surrounding regions.

Ambassador Balumuene congratulated Grand Sunergy on its rapid and steady development and achievements since its establishment and expressed high expectations for Chinese new energy products. He noted that against the backdrop of a global green transition, China has demonstrated through innovative technology its ability to provide high-quality photovoltaic products to the world. The DRC, with its rich solar energy resources, has strong economic complementarities with China and great potential for cooperation. The DRC government welcomes Chinese new energy companies, represented by Grand Sunergy, to further strengthen the development of the local new energy market, making affordable clean energy accessible to all and benefiting more people from the green energy transition.

Under the guidance of the “3060” goals, Grand Sunergy’s photovoltaic business has flourished. Since entering the new energy field in 2022, Grand Sunergy has consistently pursued the strategic goal of “Integrity, Responsibility, Global Perspective; Altruism, Sharing, Win-Win Future.” The company has continuously provided high-efficiency photovoltaic products, technical support, and solutions to more than ten countries and regions worldwide, including Germany, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, France, Slovenia, Thailand, and Japan. In response to the “Belt and Road” initiative, Grand Sunergy hopes to deepen cooperation with the African region, achieve synergy with advantageous resources, actively explore green development paths for the global photovoltaic industry, and build a beautiful zero-carbon future together!
