CGN Yantai Zhaoyuan 400MW Offshore PV Project Overview
In May, Grand Sunergy successfully secured the bid for the CGN Yantai Zhaoyuan 400MW Offshore Photovoltaic Project. This project is progressing smoothly and represents China’s first nearshore pile-fixed offshore photovoltaic project with complete procedures and substantial construction. It is also the largest single HJT project in China to date, marking a significant milestone in the large-scale development of offshore photovoltaic power stations in China.
The project utilizes Grand Sunergy’s 710W Chasing Series 210-132 Seapower bifacial double-glass high-efficiency HJT modules. It is situated in Shandong Province, known for its deep water depth, challenging construction conditions, and complex development environment.
Product and Technological Innovations
To address the demanding offshore application environments, Grand Sunergy has enhanced its 210-132 model high-efficiency HJT modules. These upgrades focus on encapsulation, glass coating, waterproofing, anti-corrosion measures, and UV resistance. The modules feature proprietary technology tailored for marine environments, ensuring durability and reliability in harsh conditions.
At SNEC 2024, Grand Sunergy unveiled several new photovoltaic products:
• Eutropic Series 182-108 Super All-Black HJT Module: Achieving 450W of maximum power and 23.02% efficiency, this module integrates 0BB busbar-less technology, black high-reflective encapsulation, and custom black interconnect ribbons for an aesthetically pleasing all-black appearance.
• Eutropic Series 182-144 Single-Glass HJT Module: With 610W maximum power and 23.61% efficiency, this module is lightweight and designed for rooftop applications, featuring fully tempered glass and high-barrier encapsulation for enhanced durability.
• Expedition Series 210-132 High Power HJT Module: Offering 751.24W maximum power and 24.18% efficiency, this module utilizes large-size HJT cells and advanced technology to reduce internal defects and improve light absorption.
• Chasing Series 210-132 Seapower HJT Module: Custom-developed for marine applications, this module features polyurethane composite frames for superior corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
At Intersolar Europe 2024, Grand Sunergy showcased additional innovations tailored for the European market:
• Eutropic Series 182-108 Super All-Black HJT Module: Designed for distributed markets, achieving 440W power and 22.51% efficiency, incorporating dense array technology for optimized light absorption.
• Chasing Series 210-132 Bifacial Double-Glass HJT Module: Recognized for its performance in the centralized market, this module is renowned for its power efficiency.
• Eutropic Series 182-144 0BB HJT Module and Expedition Series 210R-132 Rectangular Cell HJT Module: These modules cater to specific European applications, offering advanced technologies such as busbar-less interconnections and upgraded silicon wafers for improved efficiency.
